Pipes and fittings
These are the pipes and fittings we offer. You find more information in the product catalogue, which you can download or order here.
Single pipes
The single pipes are divided into the following subgroups:
Straight pipes
Series 1, 2 3 and 4.
The steel pipes are welded longitudinally or spirally and withstands up to 25 bar in most cases. The insulation is made up of hard polyurethane foam with good insulating capacity, good mechanical properties and good ageing resistance.
Cut-to-length pipes
Series 1, 2 3 and 4.
Pipes for cutting to length are manufactured in all dimensions. For these pipes, the steel service pipe is lined with plastic foil every other meter, making it easier to remove the foam insulation. Those parts covered in foil are clearly marked on the outside of the casing pipe. Full lengths, or parts of pipes, can be installed at any place in the distribution system.
Curved pipes
Series 1, 2 3 and 4.
Curved pipes are made of either seamless or longitudinally welded steel pipes. DN 450, DN 500 and DN 600 are also manufactured with extra wall thickness. Increased wall thickness for smaller dimensions will allow the maximum deflection to be increased. Measuring the deflection can be done with a special tool that we provide upon request.
Bends
The insulation for our bends is made of a special, highly resistant, foam. This means that a motion absorbing material can be eliminated, most of the times, in heat preloaded systems.
Termination bends
The termination bends are delivered with end caps on one end, in order to prevent water penetration during the period of construction. The built-in alarm wire is looped outside of the end cap seal.
T-pieces
The T-pieces we deliver are uniformly pressure resistant, unless otherwise specified.
Valves
The alarm wire is looped outside of the end cap seal. Valves are delivered according to the requirements in EN 488, as regards elastic limits. A number of newly developed compact ball valves are part of our range of new products.
Anchor units
The anchor unit is designed for casting into concrete of quality K 250.
Twin pipes
We have designed our twin pipes to be installed vertically – i.e. one pipe on top of the other – with the feed pipe at the bottom.
As regards the detailed description of the steel pipes, the insulation and the outer jacket, the requirements are the same as for single pipes. And, as for single pipes, there are cut-to-length pipes, bends, T-pieces, ball valves et cetera. See Single pipes above.
